What's a Signal?
A signal is a customer action or data point that indicates intent, interest, or risk. Most teams notice signals too late—or act inconsistently. This playbook helps you define, tag, and activate them using AI.

Every revenue signal follows the same pattern: a signal triggers an AI action that produces a concrete output.

- Start with actual customer behavior—not guesswork
- Use CRM, product analytics, or email activity as trigger sources
- Filter by frequency, value, and urgency
- Add context: persona, stage, deal size
- Tag signals in your CRM or notes using consistent language
